Our Call to Action

Flex Your AI and TrainingX.AI are partnering to spearhead an initiative to integrate AI education into the 4CD (Contra Costa Community College District) and CSU East Bay through a rigorous Applied AI program.

This initiative will provide hands-on training, address institutional concerns, and establish a sustainable framework for AI adoption. We seek to transform skeptics into advocates by demonstrating the value of AI in enhancing—not compromising—education and workforce readiness.

The Rapid Action Framework

1. Four-Week AI Assessment Program

   • A structured pilot to assess institutional needs and address fundamental concerns.

   • Focus on data integrity, ethical AI use, and practical application in curricula as a first step in regaining traction in AI relevance.

   • Active involvement of faculty, students, and administrators to ensure alignment with academic goals.

2. Curriculum Development and Implementation

   • Guide active stakeholders on the creation of an Applied AI program tailored for 4CD and CSU East Bay.

   • Training for faculty to leverage AI tools effectively and ethically.

   • Integration with existing courses to ensure seamless adoption.

3. Strategic Budgeting for Long-Term AI Integration

   • A financially responsible roadmap for AI adoption.

   • Enactment of an ongoing certification program which can also be used for opportunity prioritization.

   • Exploration of grants, industry partnerships, and funding opportunities.

   • Scalable implementation to ensure sustainability and institutional buy-in.
